Interview at least one organization change agent or leader. Analyze the alignment between the organization’s vision, mission, and values and discuss how these factors affect the identified issues from Part I. You should also discuss the organization’s current and future strategy and how it may or may not align with the organization’s vision, mission and values. It is essential to compile a list of questions ahead of time. These questions should be generated from your literature review.

 

Following the interview, submit a transcript of your questions and answers as an Appendix in your integrative case paper. *Any data collected in the program prior to IRB approval cannot be used in your dissertation as DATA COLLECTED. The information could still show up in the literature review (chapter 2) as a personal communication citation (see APA Manual).

 

In part III assignment, you need to carefully reflect on your interview and address the following questions:

 

How do leaders know whether the application of your chosen models or theories would be effective in a given situation?

How do people access the new lines of sight that prompt a consideration of change?

What new possibilities for taking action do they consider? How will they implement the course of action?

What opportunities do they face with this changing initiative?

What particular ideas, lessons, and concepts enrich your understanding of how this particular situation is evolving?

What three or four additional articles (not listed in your literature review) enrich your understanding of how positive changes are evolving?

What might be done to yield more of the promise that promoted this change?

What 3-4 relevant and thoughtful recommendations will you propose to positively enhance their effort to create this change? These high-quality recommendations should be oriented toward implementing the best change possible, building their change capacity, and enriching their understanding of how to create significant change through leading together.
